Deviating

0 min read
I'm just starting here at Deviantart and already I can see how useful it is. I'm hoping to get some help getting my comic OakStreet out of my head and onto paper. It would be great to accomplish that.

thank you!! I like yours, too. :)
Thank you for the :+fav:!

Thanks very much for the fav!
Alright finally took a look at your concepts. They are really decent for concepts! I'm curious about the story a bit more and what happens.
Only thing I would harp about is its little unrealistic action, have you ever attempted to fire 2 smg's while riding a motorcycle before? While it looks cool, I don't think it would work well in real life, and to the reader seems kinda phony. The only way it would work is if the pages were set up a bit more dymatically (more in your face angles, etc.).
But yeah, hope to hear from you soon!
Thank you. I'm still working on it. I ALWAYS fire smg's this way.

I'm still considering finding another penciller. Also, my art is very minimalistic and I don't know if it fits the story.
Lol about the smg's.

Well think about it this way, would your writing get better if you were able to focus on it completely instead of trying to balence writing and penciling (two very different arts)? Besides less work for you. And hey, as long as you got the anatomy, perspective, and layout flow good, toss it to me and I'll add the dramatic flare with the inking.

I used to work a small bit with an outstanding penciller here on dA, but sadly she is quite busy with school nowadays and I think it would be wise not to bother with her. Still the best of friends though.

Also if you intend to self-publish, who's going to finance it?
As I just put the post up, I'm fielding some offers to see who all wants to help. I really appreciate your thoughts and am encouraged. I suppose I'd have to see what works best with the story I'm trying to tell, which is hard to do.

Oh, and I'd be financing it. With a little savings and guts....
